Hair loss and Dandruff
There are various kinds of hair loss some may be permanent whereas some may be temporary. Hair loss may be due to both internal and external factors of your body. One of main reasons temporary hair loss is dandruff. Dandruff is the condition which affects the skin that is rich in oil glands; this can affect any area like scalp, face, upper chest and back. Sometimes it may spread to eyebrows, nose, ears and upper chest. Actually dandruff does not cause hair loss, but the itching caused due to dandruff leads to hair fall. Constant itching of scalp weakens the hair follicles, causes hair loss and damages the scalp. Dandruff can be controlled using shampoos which contain zinc pyrithione, tar or selenium sulphide. These are easily found at any of the Pharmaceutical stores. Serious dandruff can be prevented by using steroid creams, gels and lotions that are prescribed by the doctor. Though these are bit expensive, but are more effective in dealing with dandruff.
