Causes for Hair Loss

Many people assume that genetic reasons are the only cause for hair loss, but this is not true. There are various reasons for hair loss along other than generic reasons. Some of the reasons for hair loss include
• Hormonal Imbalance: Hair loss due to hormonal imbalance is one of the reasons for hair loss especially in women. Most of the women have hair loss after three months after their delivery. As the hormones levels changes during and after pregnancy
• Chemotherapy: Cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy treatments notices excessive hair loss. They notice hair loss not on scalp but also on legs, underarms, and hands. If they undergo regular chemotherapy treatment, they even notice hair fall on eyebrows and eyelashes. As per the studies, it is discovered that, after one or two methods of stopping the treatment, they hair fall stops. However, this depends on the condition of the patients and the drugs he is using.
• Deficiency of Biotin: Biotin is very essential for hair growth. Lack of biotin leads to hair loss, whenever you notice hair loss, starting taking the biotin. Biotin is rich in liver and egg yolk.
• Infections: Dandruff and fungal infection may lead to hair fall mostly in children. Wash your hair every alternative day and if you notice any infections start using antifungal and anti bacterial medicines.
• Do not be too harsh to hair: Excessive exposure to heat results in hair loss. Avoid using hair blowers and strengtheners as much as possible as they make the hair dry and weak. Also, avoid tight hairstyles as the hair damaged due to excessive pulling.
